Our brand new studio combines yoga, mobility & strength, dynamic movement and meditation to encourage complete nourishment to every part of your being. A 360° evolution for your body + brain waves so you can grow and thrive with us. Our motto is ‘Mi casa su casa,’ our house is your house, because at Mana we are all family.

Located in the heart of Woolloongabba, our studio boasts an urban retreat feel with hints of Mexican inspired architecture and a laid back atmosphere. We are located at 64 Logan Road, Woolloongabba in ‘The Drapery’ by award winning developer Aria Property. Outside class times our studio is available for you to relax in our saunas and enjoy Brisbane’s first ever headset meditation classes at your leisure.

Patty Perlman

Owner + Teacher

Patty's has been teaching yoga in Brisbane for 10 years. Her teaching style is Vinyasa with a mixture of Anusara and Iyengar principles that emphasise the foundations of alignment, awareness and breath flow. All classes are thoughtfully sequenced, informative and draw from themes + experiences we can all relate to.

Over the past 12 years Patty has studied with:
– Douglas Allen, Buddhism Professor of University of Maine 2004
– Craig and Shane Perkins, founders of Yandara Yoga Institute in Todos Santos, Mexico 2008 + 2018
– Gopala, founder of Rainbow Kids Yoga, Worldwide 2010
– Tammy Williams, founder of Sunshine Coast’s Yoga NRG, Australia 2012
– Julie Smerdon, founder Shri Yoga, Australia 2015
– Lorine Roche, Meditation teacher and Author, USA 2015

Esther Wallace-Hill

Owner + Teacher

Esther has been practicing yoga for over 14 years and followed her heart to share her passion for yoga and people. Esther draws her inspiration from functional movements, gymnastics and power yoga. Esther loves challenging your strength and stamina and finding the edge of your comfort zone!

Dr Laura Elliot

Teacher

Laura has a love for health and the human body. She's an experienced yoga and meditation teacher with a masters in chiropractic, honours in health science + bachelor of biomedical science.

Nicola Bone

Teacher

As a dedicated student of Yoga, Nicola has experienced first-hand the powerful healing and transformative effects that the practice can have. Her passion for making yoga accessible to every body comes from her own lived experience of beginning her Yoga journey after a sporting injury meant she was unable to train and compete for many months. Yoga was a gateway not only to physical rehabilitation but also to a complete transformation of her spiritual connection to “self”.
Nicola completed her teacher training with Yoga Works and encourages her students to pay close attention to the guidance of the breath, the alignment of the physical body and the fluctuations of the mind. Her classes will provide a sanctuary of calm where she will hold the space for you to shift out of “doing” into “being”.
Nicola also works extensively with young people in schools by delivering Yoga and Mindfulness Programs within the school curriculum for resilience and emotional regulation in the next generation.
Nicola teaches Vinyasa, Iyengar, and Restorative Yoga, and Meditation with a background in functional movement and training.
Classes with Nicola focus on calming the mind and becoming aware of worries, fears and anxieties to release the blocks of the presence of love within. You will be guided to develop strength, balance and grace as you breathe and move with purpose and intention.

Brendan OLoughlin

Teacher

Brendan is a clinical naturopath, yoga practitioner and acupuncturist. He's practiced yoga for over 15 years and taught since 2010. Brendan leads a creative and strong vinyasa style class granting you room to move and listen to your body. His yin classes are beautifully sequenced + his workshops often include acupuncture.

Sheila Ferguson

Teacher

Sheila has been weaving her way through Brisbane’s yoga community for close to ten years since landing here from her home in Nova Scotia, Canada. With her teachings rooted in the Anusara lineage you can expect a strong focus on alignment and expansion, while Sheila’s powerful yet accessible classes and grounded translation of esoteric prose are just some of what she’s come to be known for.

With over 500 hours of training Sheila has taught thousands of classes over the past seven years under the guidance of Julie Smerdon, Noah Maze, BJ Galvan, Lizzie Lasater, Lorin Roche, and Elena Brower. Sheila’s teachings are inspired by the great outdoors, her relationships, grief, and most recently motherhood. She lives and teaches from a place of compassion and it is her greatest hope that her offerings highlight the divine in all bodies, experiences, and challenges that life has to offer.
